Bitterroot Valley Morning Fog, Montana

I think this is the only season of the year when we have morning fog in the lower lying valleys of western Montana.  It makes for a more dramatic photo of the valley, I think.

The top photo shows the Bitterroot valley shrouded in low fog. The bottom photo was taken opposite the Bitterroot River from the town of Lolo, Montana, and includes Mormon Peak on the right-hand side.  Lolo Peak is mostly obstructed by Mormon Peak. Pictured below is a close-up view of the two mountains:
