This fella appears to be a fisherman, but mostly he sits and reworks his flies and line. Whether or not he had any luck that day, it was a beautiful afternoon on the Blackfoot River upstream from Johnsrud Park (Twenty or so miles northeast of Missoula, Montana, off State Highway 200.

the shot is soooo serene. i love it.
the water is soo clear. I think, without a catch, it was a good day for the guy as the place looked so nice and quiet.
My world is here.
I think that's what fishing is all about most of the time. Just a way to fiddle quietly with gear, but with a name "fishing," so one doesn't have to admit they are goofing off, eh?
Love the photo, reminds me of my Son and a place he use to fish. He always threw them back so it was just therapy for him.
