I certainly do hope this is the final "winter" picture for this spring. (However, we do have snow in the forecast for tonight--again.) At least the white stuff is melting off during the daytime hours. (Click on photo to open large size view.)
Ski season is finally, and officially, over in our neck of the woods. April 12 was the last day at the local "bowl."
Here is a photo of the "elk weathervane" that has been a part of our roof line for 19 years. Believe it or not, a neighbor asked me about five years ago if he could have it when, and if, we ever decided to take it down.
As for Mr. Elk here, I think we might just decide to put him on top of the tool shed.
Or maybe not. Maybe we will think about that for a while yet.

Awesome weathervane. Definitely good for Ratty's collection at the Everyday-adventurer!
ah, we are starting to see sunshine out here too. The last ski day up at Alta was yesterday. I am so ready for summer!
we don't have winter in the philippines but i love seeing pictures with snow, so that's why i dropped my words here. thanks for sharing.
I think winters are great but I am always ready for them to end and for the warming temps. I'm sure all of you are ready for the warming up too. I do like the moose weather vane and I think you should keep it and put it on the tool shed. What would the rooster look like on the tool shed? Just curious! Thanks for the share. It was 90 in SW Georgia yesterday & will probably be that hot today as well.
