I don't think hay stacks are very common any more. I rarely see them. Mostly, we see baled hay, both the rectangular and the big round bales. This is sort of a Montana heritage photo, the kind of scene that we hope will always be here for our children and posterity.

Beautiful. You are right, everything is baled up down here in Texas. Kind of hard for young lovers to make hay? LOL
What a beautiful haystack picture! We are full time travelers and have yet to visit Montana. We have heard so much about the beauty of Montana.
We probably will spend some time there on our next western trip.
Fluffy said that some states have
outlawed use of the round baled hay. ....because..are you ready for this?
