Yes, this photo was taken in June. There is snow somewhere in Montana every month of the year. The residents here have to "snowshoe" or "cross-country ski" to get home in the winter. The owners crafted this themselves, totally by themselves, using timber from their own property, twenty years ago.

I simply cannot get enough of your beautiful pictures.
thanks for sharing with us!:-)
wow! i'd like a log cabin like that. somewhere in the middle of nowhere!
I know it snows in Montana in June!
I took a couple of my kids on a long road trip to Montana back on '01 and we got 5 inches dumped on us. We were driving over McDonald Pass between Helena and Missoula in the snow storm ... sticking very close to the back end of the snow plow! After 20 something years living in the lands of no snow, one doesn't take her chances with family in the car.
Love log homes -- looks so nice!
Wow, I would do anything to stay in this cabin. The perfect place to relax and enjoy intensely mother nature. Montana is an amazing place, never have been tehere but I read a lot about it. Someday I'll go to Montana!!
Have a nice weekend!
Absolutely beautiful pictures. I just love the cabin.
That cabin with the serene surroundings looks like a dream come true. How very peaceful.
That is like my dream home. Until nightfall when I would be frightened of escapees from asylums attacking me. Too many horror movies I guess :)
Great photo's I hear Montana is beautiful country and from the photo's I have seen I will have to agree. Maybe I can visit the state there one day. Keep up the good photography.
