Dinosaur Mailbox and Purple Critter

I was quite intrigued by the originality and anatomical "correctness" of this odd creature, which also fulfills the practical purpose of holding the mailbox. Located in good old Missoula, Montana.
(Be sure to check out the purple critter down below)
I had to include this "purple critter" because he/she/it evidently is related to the dinosaur above, if only by being located in the same front yard. Whatever happened to pink flamingos? Oh yes, they are on the Montana Flamingo Farm (here).
A close examination of the rear end of this purple critter reveals just the smallest part of it's own pair of "brass."

I love it! I also would have loved to see the reaction of the mail person who saw these the first time.
